There is no special preparation required for your first visit, simply come as you are. Our doors open at 11:20 AM, so you are welcome to arrive a few minutes early if you’d like some extra time to get settled and comfortable. If you have any questions before or during your visit, please feel free to reach out to us or speak with one of our greeters, we’re always happy to help. There is no specific dress code; we simply ask that you dress modestly and respectfully, as is fitting for a place of worship.

The Divine Liturgy is the central worship service of the Orthodox Church, bringing us together in prayer, Scripture, and thanksgiving, and centered around the celebration of the Eucharist. Throughout the service, you may encounter icons, chanting, incense, and periods of standing and sitting, along with prayers and traditions that may be new to you. There is no need to know when or how to participate, feel free to follow along as you are comfortable, or simply observe and take in the beauty of the service.

Holy Communion is reserved for baptized and chrismated Orthodox Christians who are spiritually prepared to receive the Holy Mysteries. Visitors are warmly invited to participate in the prayers of the Divine Liturgy and may receive blessed bread at the conclusion of the service.

Following the Divine Liturgy, we gather for coffee, fellowship and refreshments. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet members of our parish family, ask questions, and learn more about our community.
